Time and Memories - 10 years goes by fast!

Time goes so fast, but memories are never lost.  Especially when you have photographs to help you remember all the fine details.  It was 10 years and 3 days ago that my husband and I stood in a Russian orphanage and met one of our soon to be sons.  He was about to turn 3 and was very shy and in fact turned his back to us when we spoke to him (this is a very good sign for kids in an orphanage).  Over the next 2 days we spent large blocks of time with him and knew he was to be our son.   Launch forward to today and that shy little boy will be “13” this weekend, a teenager and I will be a mom with a teenage boy.  How did this happen so fast??  He is an amazingly smart, outgoing, music loving kid that has made our life rich!  God has blessed us in amazing ways and I am so proud to be his mom and to celebrate him.  Happy Birthday Drew!

Don’t miss out on these middle years – between Kindergarten and Senior year – schedule a photo session to capture who your kids are today.  It’s the photographs that help you to remember the fine details.
